Josh sits down with Ferrum Forge Knife Works co-founder Elliot Willamson. Ferrum Forge is a relatively young knife manufacturer that was started from the humble beginnings of Elliot’s garage. Elliot was always drawn towards knives and for most of his life was considered the goto ‘knife guy’ when someone needed a sharp edge. After graduating from UCSC, recently buying a house in 2009, he found himself with way more space and way more free time. With a garage at his disposal, he made his first knife, and over the next decade, his operation morphed into a little company that best fits the overall market for knives. It’s funny how a little free time can turn into a lifelong career just like that.
