Josh sits down with Fourpoints Bars co-founder Kevin Webber. Fourpoints Bars is, you guessed it, a brand delivering delicious, nutritious, and game changing energy bars to the market. While most bars use dates or syrups as a base for their bars, Fourpoints uses plums and is the ONLY bar that currently using dried plums as a base. But why plums? Webber and his brother come from two generations of diabetics and, as avid outdoor enthusiasts were hell bent on not letting that affect their outdoor endeavors. They wanted to create a slow burning energy bar without compromising blood sugar. That’s where plums come in. This unassuming, super, powerhouse ingredient not only contains more antioxidants than blueberries but, has a substantially lower glycemic index than dates, a common ingredient in energy bars. With no added preservatives to boot it’s clear that Fourpoints Bars are becoming a pioneer of health in the energy bar biz and we’re psyched to see what comes next.
